The district cooling system : an efficient energy solution

The district cooling system is a collective solution, which provides energy by adapting to the local needs and contexts. It offers many advantages over stand-alone air-conditioning systems while protecting the environment and the quality of the living environment for many clients in Paris. The use of natural resources, flexibility and safety confer an exemplary image on the collective cooling system.

Environmental contributions

Connection to the district cooling system allows you to enjoy many benefits while avoiding the problems linked to chilled water production in Paris: flexibility and security, energy efficiency, compactness, architectural integration. CLIMESPACE is an innovative partner in the implementation of technologies that contribute to a significant reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions. In Paris, compared to an equivalent fleet of standalone installations, the CLIMESPACE system allows for:

Responsible cooling

The CLIMESPACE system uses the natural low temperature of the water from the Seine to cool production equipment all year round. During the coldest winter periods, CLIMESPACE uses direct flow into the district cooling system: this is called “free cooling”. CLIMESPACE is an expert in this technology that allows a significant reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Supply to the production facilities is assured by electricity guaranteed to be from renewable sources. Through this approach, CLIMESPACE pursues its commitment into sustainable development and the preservation of natural resources.

Customers of the district cooling network
